Anyone who knows me KNOWS I love routines! Like, seriously! Just ask anyone inside of Mom Mastery University!

But have you ever wondered why you sometimes feel like your routines aren’t making a difference? For instance, you’re making your bed every morning, laying out your clothes the night before… but it just feels like the same old same old.

If you’re saying, “That’s me, Hannah!” then you need to stick around!!!

I’m about to share with you the 3 things you NEED to know to save your routines!

Ruts and Routines (3 Things You Need To Know)

There’s a reason WHY moms fall into the trap of ruts when it comes to their routines. Whether it be from lack of motivation, feeling inadequate, lack of recognition, comparison, the list could go on…

Believe me, mama, I know it can be hard to feel like you are doing the same thing over and over and over again, without any immediate gratification!

I have raised 7 kids… I KNOW how you feel sometimes! But know this, regardless of what you think, you ARE making a huge difference and impact in the lives of your children and the people around you.

Challenge:

In order to make sure your routines do not become ruts, you NEED to have momentum! Think about a hamster in a ball (stick with me now), It takes so much more energy to get the ball rolling than it does to keep the ball rolling. The same applies in your routines.

You are not in this alone! Here are 3 simple and effective things to break out of the rut you might be in!

1. Set up a reward – It doesn’t have to be huge, it’s actually better if it’s something small. Either way, reward yourself for accomplishing your routines. 

  1. 2. Create inventory of your life – Write stuff down. Did you finish one of your routines in record time? Awesome, write it down!!! Your future self with thank you!
  2. 3. You need momentum – We put the “mom” in MOMentum! In order for your routines to not become ruts, you need to have momentum, and drive!
  3.  Routines are designed to make our lives easier and better, not boring and complicated. Spice up your routines, and remember your WHY behind each one. You are doing an AMAZING job, mama!
