Fabulous Chocolate Chip Muffins

My kids absolutely love this recipe (as you can see by this picture of Kenna licking the bowl). It is an all-time breakfast favorite here in the Keeley household! And the great thing is that even though they’re full of chocolatey goodness, they’re still nutritious and good for you. Make a batch today - trust me, your kids will thank you!

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/3 cups mashed banana
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup cocoa
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine dry ingredients. Make a well in the center and add all wet ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Fold in chocolate chips. Spoon into 12 muffin cups. Cook at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until a knife inserted in the middle comes out cleanly.
