It's Zone 3: Time to Wash Those Washables

Hey there, Power Purgers! Well, we're there again. It's Zone Three--the bathrooms and bedrooms! If you're not zoning, then check it out right here. This week, it's high time to wash all those washables in the bathroom and bedroom. So grab everything that can be washed--the shower curtains, fancy towels, rugs, comforters, and those weird fuzzy things that cover the toilet (if you've got them), and let's give them a good washin'!  When you wash them, make sure you hang them outside to dry if it's good weather. If not, just toss them anywhere to dry--maybe over a bannister or door.

When you wash your shower curtain, or shower curtain liner, an easy way to do it is to just stick it in the washing machine with hot water, a tiny bit of detergent, and a whole lot of white vinegar. If you have a lot of mold growth, you may need to mix up a solution of 1/4 bleach and 3/4 water and spray the trouble spots. After you wash it, all you have to do is hang it right back up in the shower to dry. Couldn't get any easier.

Well, it could.

I guess.

I was telling my sister-in-law the other day that it's so much more FUN (which coincidentally was my 5-Minute Mom Coaching Subject of today!) to do these seemingly joyless tasks when I know someone else is doing them that day too! I picture you, Hannah, and all the other moms whistling (except I don't know how to whistle, but I hum and shake my bum for sure!) doing the exact same chore. Love it!
