It's Zone Three: Do You Have Room to Stock Up?
Feb 19 2012
Welcome to Zone Three, the bathrooms and bedrooms. The special project for this week is to clear out our toiletries.
Now, If you're like me, then you LOVE a good bargain. I was at the grocery store the other day and found an awesome deal on the body soap that my family uses. The single size was actually marked a lot cheaper than the price per bar in the bulk package. So, of course I piled up the bars in my cart. But, when I got home, I realized I didn't have room for it!
On to Zone Three--the bathroom.
This week, we are going to clear out those toiletries and free up space to stock up on what you actually use. Now, c'mon, let's get real, here. You probably have a pile of bottles and jars that you can toss. Think of those trendy items you pick up that you never use, or those lotions and bath salts that you received as gifts. This is the week to de-clutter and toss those items out.
I already started and I tossed a bottle of hairspray that had a broken nozzle and a bottle of lotion that I picked up at the beach and used only once (I didn't like the smell). My goal is to clear out one drawer in my bathroom that I can use to stock toiletries when they go on sale (like toothbrushes, shampoo, and soap).
When it comes to stocking up, here are two things to keep in mind:
1. Buy it at a bargain.
2. Buy only what you already use.
Now, let's get to work in Zone Three!
