Your Kids Are Your Own Fault!

Apr 18 2011

Full

When I first talked with Larry Winget, I knew we had like minds (which is pretty hard to find when the majority of the world thinks you're crazy). This guy does not sugar coat. He doesn't beat around the bush. He just flat-out tells it how it is--as cruel as the truth can be. His book, "Your Kids Are Your Own Fault" takes a hard-hitting approach to the real problem behind kids today...their parents!

This week I'm giving away a signed copy of this incredible book that will make you take a good, long look at how you're parenting. The subtitle of this book is "A Guide to Raising Responsible, Productive Adults," and it definitely delivers. This is one of my favorite books because it takes a "tough love" stance, which is quite the norm here in our family. Just this weekend, my son headed downstairs to the gameroom to play video games (they get to play on Saturday mornings). But I had to stop him.

"I don't remember you turning in that report on the Industrial Revolution," I said.

"ummmmmm..." he muttered.

Yep, no video games for you, kiddo! He was stuck sitting at the computer while his brothers played Lego Star Wars.

Just leave a comment below and share some of the tough love stories you have in your family, and you'll be entered to win!

So, can you handle the truth?

Can you?

My husband and I are both tough, and it wasn't a conscious decision. Actually, sometimes I wish we were a little more fun, I mean, I'm fun but I'm not patient. I think my "tough" love needs direction and guidance. I would LOVE to read this book.

With a 17 year spread in age from my oldest to the youngest I could go on all day! But what I really want to read about in this book is how to get your spoiling spouse on board. I'm tired of being the bad guy!

Every one remembers that our life seems to be high priced, but we require money for various issues and not every one earns enough money. So to receive fast credit loans and college loan should be a correct solution.
