Southern Women's Show!

On November 17th, I got to visit the Southern Women's Show on behalf of the Bounce Dryer Bar (is there anyone out there who has NOT fallen in love with this thing??). I flew out to Orlando, where everything is colorful and entertaining. See, here in Richmond, we just have restaurants. Out in Orlando, they have THEME restaurants. it seems everyone is vying for the bet amusement park look. And, there are some sure-fire winners out there.
But as entertaining as the sights were, the most entertaining part for me was when I stepped into the GI-NORMOUS convention center and beheld the Southern Women's Show! It was everything a mom could ever need and more! People were getting facials in one exhibit and checking out awesome lingerie in the next.
I also got to speak with a lot of women on the topic of "helpful tips for hectic moms." Here are some of the tips I gave:
#1 Let go of perfection! If you know me at all, you know I live and breathe by this motto.
#2 Know your "why." In short, this means that if you want to set goals, know the real reason why you are setting them and it will empower you during those moments when you are weak.
#3 Buy products that work FOR you. Too many moms buy stuff that is just going to clutter up their lives and create more work for them. My suggestion? If it's not going to work FOR me, I'm not going to buy it. That's why I hung out in the Bounce Dryer Bar exhibit for most of the day. I love this product because you just stick it in your dryer and you don't ever have to worry about adding fabric softener or chasing down fabric softener sheets. It does the work for you.
I don't know about you, but I've already marked my calendar for next year!
