Simply Sugar and Gluten Free...for ME?

Aug 08 2011

Full

Amy Green was so sick and tired of being sick and tired (and fat) that it led her to do something desperate--

She cut simple sugar and gluten OUT OF HER DIET!

And, guess what...it worked! To see Amy today, you wouldn't believe she ever spent a day overweight and miserable. She is the absolute picture of health. And it all happened when she cut out the sugar and the gluten. Now, if you're like me, you're thinking, "yeah, right...but I don't want to just eat broccoli and spinach for every meal." Well, then you will be as surprised as I was when I flipped through her book and saw recipes for some of the most delicious and satisfying meals and tantalizing desserts you could ever imagine! This is definitely not a "denial diet," if you know what I mean.

I got Amy on the phone the other day to talk about her own health journey and you have got to give this a listen. She is amazing! And her recipes are, too. Make sure you leave a comment and share your own diet challenges, and you'll be entered to win a free copy! OH, and she has an amazing website, so check it out!

I try to be gluten free and vegan to boot 90% of the time. This book would be great to keep me on track. I can't wait to look through a copy. Thanks.

My oldest daughter has Crohn's disease and I think she would be at optimal health if she were completely Gluten and sugar free! We are 80/20 now. It's a bit intimidating for me.

Sugar addiction is a big problem for me, but I can't get my husband and kids on board with a healthier diet when the replacement meals seem so dull and repetitive. Some recipes which are sugar-free AND yummy and exciting would be such a blessing!

We try "diets" all the time. I would like to find something that can be a lifestyle.

I can't wait to see these recipes! I want to ban sugar, but I don't know how to do it with the way this culture uses it in everything!

I need this book! I have been trying to eat a "real foods" diet and it is a struggle with two under 4! I feel so much better when I do! Love that everything is quick and easy! My BFF was just diagnosed with celiac and I need to get her this book as well!

Would love a copy of Amy's book, can't seem to find it in any Aussie bookshops though! Any cookbook that helps me and my family eat healthy, good quality food (the way God intended) would be an inspiration! :)

I was diagnosed with IBS many years ago and was put on 10 different meds to help with the symptoms. Well I finally put myself on an elimination diet and found the just by removing gluten, dairy and sugar I feel so much better! No more medications and have lost 15- pounds so far. What a difference going GF, DF & SF made for me. Always looking for tips and recipes though....

Hello, my group is just establishing our first website, searching and working out what is needed. This blog stuck out right away. I'm fired up about this, and adore the design of your site. Are you able to let me know what "theme" it is?

My son was diagnosed with Fructose Malabsorbtion Disorder. Long story short - his body can't digest sugars or fructoligosacrides (I think that is how you spell it..) i.e. wheat. So - not by choice - we are learning how to life sugar free- wheat free.... Not an easy thing for a 6 year old! He is doing much better - in physical health and emotional health as well!

I am currently following the anti-inflammatory diet (both gluten and sugar free) to treat arthritis. It is a no-brainer as I am 33 and do not want to be on arthritis meds for the rest of my life. This book would definitely put some zing back into my cooking. Thanks for the chance to win!

I am trying to eat anti inflammatory too and I haven't gotten a new cookbook in a long time. This would be a welcome addition.

I was turned down for health insurance due to my BMI (translation: I was obese!) and it took me a year to get motivated, through understanding that I am addicted to certain foods, and that I literally can't eat them. I decided to cut out meat/wheat/sugar/butter/margarine, and control what I'm eating, and I've lost 40 lbs.! It is very HARD to find gluten free AND sugar free items. I have 17 more lbs to go!
