My new dishwasher

I love to have uplifting, inspirational music playing in the kitchen during the day (except when I’m teaching, that is). Usually the kids and I will listen to Pandora online during the time around our lunch break. They play songs that they think you will like based on other songs you’ve listened to recently. Well, I had noticed that my old dishwasher was so loud that it completely drowned out the radio and I always ended up just turning the music off. Then I received a new Frigidaire dishwasher as part of the Frigidaire Test Drive. I just love it! It’s got a huge silverware basket, so there’s no more desperate searches for a clean fork between washes. And it also washes dishes faster than my old dishwasher did, which saves me lots of time (and as a mom, time is something I can always use more of). But the part that I’ve enjoyed the most is how quiet this Frigidaire dishwasher is. It’s the quietest dishwasher in its class, as a matter of fact. So now when we have those impromptu concerts in the kitchen, there’s nothing to interrupt our fun!

*I wrote this review while participating in a Test Drive Campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Frigidaire and received a Frigidaire Refrigerator, Range/Microwave, Washer/Dryer set, and a Dishwasher to facilitate my review.*

I’ve never understood why mothers used the dishwasher. Afer all, for all the time you spend scraping off food, piling the dishes, and proof checking for the dishwasher safe label, you could have washed the whole kaboodle with a lot less noise, much faster and, best of all, with MUCH better results. Dishwashers are infamous for leaving spots; thereby, giving the poor house work burden mom another job of again proof checking before she places the dishes back.

I’m happy to say I hand wash my dishes and hand dry them. The dishwasher, in my opinion, is a modern inconvenience.

Have a great day! Maria
