This past weekend, we travelled to Williamsburg, VA and went to one of our very favorite spots--the Yankee Candle Store. While we were there, some of the kids got wax models made of their hands.

First, it was Klara's turn. A sweet, elderly gentleman who worked there took Klara's hand and guided her through the process of dipping her hand in wax, then in ice water, then in wax, and on and on. It was so cute.

Then, the inseparable pair, Kelsey and Katie, stepped forward to make a wax model of their hands with pinkies interlocked. I know, cute, right? Well, immediately, this teenage boy stepped forward and volunteered to help them with their model.

Hmmm, let's see. Elderly gentleman for a little girl. Teenage boy for my gorgeous teenage girls...I'm thinking it wasn't an accident. I tried not to laugh as the boy took EXTREME CAUTION on getting their wax hands juuuuust right.
