Korben attacks Kyler (I mean, Wolverine attacks Magneto)

This past weekend, we had three soccer games--Korben, Klara, and Kenna. This means that we had plenty of time to sit on the sidelines and find strange and unusual things to entertain us. Of course, this doesn't pose a problem for Korben, who lifted six plastic straws from Tropical Smoothie (where we went for lunch).

Personally, I had no idea that six plastic straws could be so entertaining. Check out Korben vs Kyler...or should I say, "Wolverine vs Magneto."

But between you and me, it doesn't look like Magneto is too menacing of an opponent.

It is just a pet peeve of mine: I do *not* like this sort of quasi-bullying! I can hear you laughing in the background, Hannah, and that made it worse for me! I felt that Kyler wanted some help to tell Korban "enough!", but you kept the video rolling. *sigh* Like I said, it may just be me :/

carolane... do you have boys? :) as a mom of 2 boys, i am learning that even the sweetest of boys partake in this kind of play fighting. i didn't read the video the same way you did, but i do think if kyler had really had it, he could have handled it himself. he was smiling throughout :)

You both are right. I believe bullying is wrong, and would never condone it in my family. Bullying carries the intent of frightening another person to put yourself into a more powerful position. My boys are playing and they love to become characters. If they're not acting out X-men, then it's Star Wars, Harry Potter, or something else. Kyler actually thought it was funny because Korben is such a character! And, there have been plenty of times when things get a little carried away; and you're right, basickneads, Kyler can handle himself. Usually that means coming to me and saying, "Mom, it's time to tell Korben to chill."
