It's a VERY VEGGIE Easter!

Easter's coming! Easter's coming!

I LOVE Easter because we always go visit my family. My sisters and I spend hours on the night before Easter getting our kiddo's Easter baskets all prepped and ready. Someone usually has a nervous breakdown. Someone usually forgets to pick up a chocolate bunny. And someone ends up with a stomachache from too much candy. But all of us band together and get it done. By the way, my mama can wrap a mean basket in cellophane! She's had lots of experience.

Then comes Easter morning. I love that church service most of all--the resurrection! Thank you, Jesus, for conquering death once and for all!!!

I'm not sure how you spend Easter, but I really want to know. And I've got a special Veggietales video to give away this week for a very special mama. I'm giving away "Veggietales--Twas the Night Before Easter." My kids watched it and LOVED it (don't worry. I'm not mailing out that one. I'm sending out a brand new movie, with plastic on it and everything!).

OH! And as a special surprise, I'm also including a brand spankin' new Veggietales CD called, "Hosanna! Today's Top Worship Songs for Kids." This CD has some of our favorite worship songs, done Veggie style!

Make sure you leave a comment and share your favorite Easter traditions and you just may get yourself a free video and a rockin' CD. That's TWO servings of veggies, mama!

Well coloring eggs is my favorite Easter tradition but I am sure the kids would say the big egg drop the church does is their favorite. A helicopter drops bags of plastic eggs filled with candy or little prizes into the middle of a school football field and then the kids get to grab them up. Over 4000 people showed up last year so my kids only got one egg a piece and they were fine with it, they loved it! I was so proud they did not care that they did not get much. This year they are planning to drop alot more eggs though!

My parents never really kept to any specific traditions, but my grandparents did when I was growing up. I always got to do a treasure hunt search for my Easter basket on that Sunday morning! I've decided to start that tradition again. I think my 2 year old will love it!

We always spend Easter Sunday at my parents' house. We're especially looking forward to it this year, because I have a brand new baby nephew, just born last week! My children still love hunting Easter eggs, although the oldest is twelve now. They also love Veggie Tales, and I'm sure we'll introduce baby Daison to them when he's older.

We always go to church Easter morning and celebrate with fellow believers! Then, we have to go to Grandma's for lunch and a great big egg hunt with all the grandkids. Can't wait to see what my 3 year old has to say about Easter this year. She is a little philosopher these days spouting things back to us after she hears a story or gets home from church.

My children love the Veggie Tales and would love an early Easter gift.

I love Easter! My husband and I are separated now, but we always have holidays together with our 5-year-old daughter (we've remained very good friends). We visit relatives on both sides of the family, paint eggs, hide eggs for her to find (over and over). But our favorite is going to church together. I find it very special that we can still get along and share such a special time of year together.
