I turned 42 this past week! We had a knock-down, drag-out party at the house (sorry, no kegs). Actually, it was just me, Blair, and the young'uns, which is perfect for me. I just thought you moms would appreciate the cards I received from the kids:

Kenna, my sweet little 4-year-old, gave me a card with a picture of me and a heart inside of an eye, which means "I love you." She also said to not pay any attention to the other picture because it was a mess-up.

Klara, my 6-year-old, dictated a card and then drew a picture. She mentioned on the card that I should tap dance because it's my birthday. She also mentioned I reminded her of a donkey. I'm not too sure about that one.

Kyler, my 14-year-old, loves to serve. For my birthday, he organized all the school books in the basement. That was such a sweet gift!

Korben has a tradition of drawing a picture whenever it's someone's birthday and putting their age on the nose. This is his signature card. The noses are getting bigger every year.

Kelsey and Katie, my teen girls, made some fabulous cards for me. So pretty! They also gave me some jammies that are way cute. I guess they're sick of seeing me go to bed every night in Blair's t-shirts.

Karis, my 12-year-old drama king also made me a card. In his own dark and twisted way, I think he was trying to tell me "Happy Birthday."
